Ductless Air Conditioners

Ductless air conditioners are a necessity during the hot Toronto summertime. They’re commonly found in homes that don’t have existing ductwork. Ductwork is usually installed when a furnace is installed in your home in order to evenly distribute heating during the winter. Furnaces are much more efficient than other types of heating, but the installation is also very expensive. This is also the case with central air conditioning. Fortunately, ductless air conditioning systems are an excellent alternative to central air conditioners.

Installing ductless air conditioning in your home is much easier than you might think. It only takes a few hours at the most and involves connecting the external condenser unit to the internal air handler unit. This is done through a 4 inch wide hole that needs to be drilled in an external wall of your house.

Phoenix Heating & Cooling has over 30 years of experience installing ductless air conditioning systems in homes across Toronto and the GTA. Over the years we’ve run into every challenging situation imaginable and have installed every brand and model of ductless air conditioner you can imagine. Overall, we have the knowledge and experience necessary to ensure your unit is properly installed and configured.
